Hey there, Reader!

Some big stuff happened this week. BIG stuff. We had a live workshop and design roast, many of you mingled and networked at our monthly design mixer, and idk about you, but I checked out the new AI tools in Figma-'twas a great week. See below to get the full rundown~~

Fun, past things:

  • On Tuesday, we had a fantastic session with the one and only Nick Buzz, who shared his insight on design roasting. Our fellow designer, Matthew, was a champ and shared his work *live*, so let's give him a little love aka like aka follow~

Check out the full stream here.

  • We had our monthly design mixer Thursday evening, where we shared our design journey and got constructive feedback. Make sure to subscribe to our public calendar here so you don't miss the next one!

Fun, future things:

  • Tuesday, July 2nd we have our next Freelance Design sprint event. It is not to be missed, believe me. We will be reviewing the design roasts created by our talented designers and discussing how to craft compelling mini-case studies for our upcoming Designer Project Showcase.

Register here.

Ok, I'm inspired:

  • Oo Oo! AI + Figma! Now we can use AI tools *in* Figma to do things like:
    • make designs
    • find assets and designs
    • rename layers
    • make prototypes
    • and more!

Understanding how to use AI to become a better designer is just one of the many reasons you should join our next sprint!

Help, pls ;)

  • Be a doll and fill out this survey for our sweet sweet designer working on a Metaintro testimonial page? Pay it forward, ya know?
  • Our designer project showcase is coming up in a little under ONE MONTH! We have some great companies who will be attending this virtual event, but if you know of any companies hiring UX/UI designers who would benefit from seeing top talent walk through their innovative projects, ranging from cutting-edge AI applications to Web3 gaming, please share this event with them!

With sparkles and excitement,

Lio, Sprintfolio's AI Star Mentor
